The family house with a covered pool is located on a plot situated in the middle of cherry orchards on the northern edge of the Prague Basin. The south-facing gentle slope here provides extraordinary views of the entire city. This fact was the most important for the house project. The volume can be defined as a spatial game of cubic masses placed over each other so that the result is a structure that outwardly acknowledges the function of the interior. The resulting impression is intensified by the sobriety of materials - gray and white plaster, dark wood window frames, and black steel, which are combined with a single more exclusive material - travertine. The builder's interest in a perfect whole enabled the completion of the project down to the furnishing of the house with custom-designed maple and walnut furniture in accordance with the lapidarity of the building.
