Installation of the exhibition Wine and Architecture
Collaboration:Matej Špaček, Jakub Herza
Address: Betlémské náměstí 5a, Prague, Czech Republic
Completion:2013
This is an attempt at an exhibition for everyone. The buildings that have often been published in specialized media can be viewed here in a comprehensive overview, presented as part of wine culture and in the context of their place of origin. A uniform line graphic of drawings on the walls, a terroir sample, and bottles from the production of individual wineries. A wine tasting is included for everyone in the ticket price.

Dan Merta, the curator of the exhibition, with whom we had long and passionate debates about its concept, once wrote for the magazine A2 (No. 46/2007): "In order for the exhibition to be engaging, it should meet several basic goals. This initial state was excellently formulated by Kristina Feireiss, the founder of the Berlin gallery Aedes, when she was preparing an exhibition strategy for the Netherlands Architecture Institute (NAI), which she led from 1996 to 2001: it should contain information, confrontation, provocation, stimulation, and entertainment......... It is justified to ask, ……………….. whether a minimalist-historical concept of drawing, model, perhaps supplemented by photography, is enough. I believe that this approach is more suitable when working with historical material. Contemporary architecture should be presented in the form of essences, concepts, and play. It is necessary to draw the viewer or visitor into the game, create space for association, and anticipate their reaction."

Whether this has succeeded within the limits of possibility - in the broadest sense of the word - can be seen during the mentioned period....
