The modern Sokol hall in Líbeznice is the result of the struggle between people's natural desire to associate and the lack of funds. Above all challenges rises the idea of transforming isolated individuals into a community through a school gym, a sports clubroom, a footballers' lounge, changing rooms for footballers, a fitness room, a mothers' center lounge, a café, a ping pong club, a concert hall, a dance hall, a conference room, a lecture hall, and a cinema. Its architectural concept is represented by a wooden ark, stripped of technological complexities, set in open space in the center of the village, appropriately low, bright and airy inside, colorful, acoustic, and naturally structural, with a design that embodies the scents, touch, and texture of wood, while appearing austere from the outside. The combination of these abstract elements then culminated in a contemporary expression. Thus, the Líbeznice wooden structure has entered the splintering of rural houses like Moby Dick, and at the same time, serves as a bonding agent, a keystone, and a common denominator for the community, a competitor to dependence on superficial media, ready to wage a battle with the invisible tentacles of smartphones for the return of the generation of computer kids to the ball.
