Bungalow in Eastern Bohemia
We love Scandinavia, Nordic style, shades of beige and white, a combination of patterns, textures, and natural materials. We love living in nature. And all of this has been reflected in the realization of a bungalow in Eastern Bohemia.
It all started with a meeting with a person who has achieved absolute mastery in their field. The daily demanding and responsible work in medicine and the need for new housing. We designed a house on a beautiful plot, not too small, not too large. A house that breathes tranquility. A house that becomes a home. An oasis of relaxation. A wonderful collaboration.
It was supposed to be a house with a flat roof, but due to restrictions because of its location in a part of the village that has a purely rural character, we devised beautiful architecture combining classic forms of family homes with modern living. The bungalow in Eastern Bohemia is a perfect example of our concept of a "flat" in the garden. A house closed off to the street, open to the landscape. Perfect views of the beautiful Posázaví region. A house built on our typical floor plan of two intersecting axes. Two sight lines running through the entire house. One part private, the other, the entrance, with a generous living space.
The living area, where the kitchen section with a bar island is pleasantly connected to the outdoor grill. A stylish dining table visually links to the casual outdoor seating. In the center of the space, at the intersection of the main axes, an impressive fireplace gently separates the purely relaxing living area with almost panoramic views. An excellent layout is the foundation of comfortable living.
Maximally glazed house, our typically designed bungalow. Each living room leads directly to the garden, to the terrace by the pool. Every room is fully glazed on at least one wall. We create one flowing space from the inside out. A perfect connection between the interior and the exterior. A house full of light. A house full of unique views.
An elegant, calm interior with bleached oak floors, white panel ceilings, semi-transparent curtains in off-white, beige plaster, large-format mirrors, and travertine cladding. Solitary natural light fixtures as the cherry on top. All in perfect harmony with black details of delicate frames for the glazed exterior walls and columns.
