The super energy-efficient roof window FTT was created with the high demands of low-energy and passive construction in mind. Its special and innovative design ensures perfect parameters, guaranteeing significant energy savings. The FTT U8 Thermo window, with a coefficient of 0.58 W/m2K, is the most energy-efficient roof window available on the market. It is supplied and installed exclusively with the EHV-AT Thermo flashing. It comes standard with the XDK insulation set, which consists of the XDS airtight collar and the XDP thermal insulation kit.
The glazing is installed in a specially designed sash frame, constructed from wider wooden profiles. This design minimizes the creation of thermal bridges and ensures better overall insulation properties of the window.
The FTT window can be equipped with energy-efficient glazing: - standardly with double-chamber glazing U6 with a Ug=0.5W/m2K coefficient. The thermal transmittance coefficient of the entire FTT U6 window is Uw=0.81W/m2K. The inner glass is laminated (safety) class P2. - optionally with triple-chamber glazing U8 with a Ug=0.3W/m2K coefficient. The coefficient for the whole window is then Uw=0.58W/m2K.
The FTT window has a pivot type with an increased axis of rotation, allowing access to the open window even for tall individuals. The open window can be locked in the range from 0° to 40° thanks to an innovative support mechanism. The topSafe system provides increased resistance to burglary.
The large dimensions of the window and the increased axis of rotation bring more light into the attic and easy access to the open window. The new FTT window is equipped with a quadruple sealing system and a changed locking method without a classic strike plate. The sound insulation coefficient of the FTT U6 window is equal to 38 [dB]. The very good Rw parameter provides high protection against noise from the outside.
Installation range for roofs with a slope of 15-70°.
