The winning residential project of the BEST OF REALTY 2011 competition was the Swedish Residence with Solidfloor floors from KPP

On Wednesday, November 9, 2011, the ceremonial announcement of the 13th year of the prestigious competition "BEST OF REALTY - THE BEST OF REAL ESTATE" took place in the Congress Hall of the Czech National Bank in Prague. A total of 23 registered projects competed for the top position in three competitive categories. The winner of the most strongly represented category of residential projects (13 competing objects) was Residence Švédská by the developer SATPO Development, s.r.o. Although it is a relatively small project in comparison to other residences (it contains 7 units of luxurious living), its execution brings a cohesive complex of three buildings with benefits deserving admiration from both experts and the general public. The expert jury, led by Ing. Kamil Kosman, chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Association for the Development of the Real Estate Market (ARTN), which provides professional patronage over the competition, awarded the commercial success of Residence Švédská, the generous combination of the atmosphere of the original building and the environment of classic villa development with the new building, and the above-standard architectural solution that brings luxury and important privacy to the owners.

"We are pleased to have been part of this very successful project, which has additionally received the prestigious BEST OF REALTY award," says Ing. Petr Kratochvíl, managing director of the company Kratochvíl parket profi, s.r.o., which supplied 900 m² of quality three-layer wooden flooring Solidfloor of Dutch origin to the building, and adds: "In selecting the flooring, we based our choice on the architectural intent and the requirement to seamlessly blend the character of the new building with the charm of the original Art Nouveau villa. I believe that the selection of two oak decors from the Lifestyle collection with an ecological oil finish, complemented by brushed and bleached surfaces, has supported or even better fulfilled this goal."

The residential building Švédská, for which the construction supervision was handled by CGM Czech, a.s., was completed in the first quarter of 2011, and currently, each of the seven luxuriously furnished units has its owner. The Solidfloor oak parquet (the lighter decor Dub Méditérraneé and Dub Pyranees with a smoky tint) with a thickness of 15 mm was fully glued to the surface in the living rooms, hallways, and storage rooms as part of the standard equipment. The complete flooring installation was ensured by SOLITER parket, s.r.o.

In addition to the above-standard solutions of the apartments, which connect safety with modernity and refined design (let's mention, for example, the luxurious aluminum window systems from Schüco or entrance doors of the same brand, equipment from Villeroy Boch, Grohe, Hansgrohe, and others), and the perfect combination of the originally reconstructed Art Nouveau villa with the added new building, the high value of the residence is also contributed to by its location. The project guarantees private and secure living not far from the historic center of the capital. Who wouldn't want to inhabit one of the most sought-after urban areas, which is part of the classic villa development from the early 20th century?
