Thirteen years after the first collection created in collaboration with French designer Jean-Marie Massaud, the AXOR brand presents its new product line AXOR Edge – a luxurious symbiosis of geometric shapes and ultra-precise manufacturing methods.

The new faucet pushes the boundaries in both aesthetic and technological design: asymmetrically joined blocks create an impressive whole, and by using diamonds in the manufacturing process, ultra-precise edges and surfaces are formed, partly refined with fine structures and with the possibility of personalization with some of AXOR's exclusive finishes AXOR FinishPlus. AXOR Edge is available for sinks, bathtubs, bidets, and with various thermostatic modules also for showers.

Design: geometric, architectural, asymmetrical

AXOR Edge is massive yet filigree at the same time. The surfaces and edges of the faucet are asymmetrically connected, creating a completely new optical and tactile experience. The faucet can be partially finished with a fine structure, or it can be left in a minimalist design, i.e., smooth. You can also choose from five glossy AXOR FinishPlus surfaces: from shiny red gold to shiny black chrome. They are manufactured at the highest technical level in AXOR vacuum chambers using the PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) method, which is high-tech technology that makes the surface more durable, has a longer lifespan, but above all achieves an unprecedented brilliance and new color, ideal for luxury bathrooms.

"Collaboration with the AXOR brand is always about creating the perfect experience. With AXOR Edge, we have elevated customer requirements to a higher level – from an object of everyday necessity, we have created a sculpture. All products from this collection are more than just bathroom faucets – they are jewelry, masterpieces, extraordinary architectural sculptures carved from a single block of brass and surface refined according to the customer's wishes. They are true, functional works of art; for me, that is luxury," says Jean-Marie Massaud.

Technology: precision as the basis of brilliance

To produce perfect surfaces and edges, a state-of-the-art diamond machine developed specifically for making AXOR Edge is used. The diamond tool, known from the space and laser industries, cuts facets at a 45° angle so that they meet together. With equally high precision, fine details of the structure are created: diamonds grind the surface of a massive block of brass with micron-level accuracy. Step by step, pyramid blocks are formed, which, thanks to the reflection of light, play a fascinating game of light and shadow, further enhancing the impression of a precious jewel.
