AXOR MyEdition_Glass Concept: a piece of Czech glass tradition moves to the bathroom

With AXOR MyEdition, you can have faucets according to your own wishes

The design of the AXOR MyEdition collection is by the Stuttgart-based studio Phoenix Design. A special feature: a neutral mounting plate that allows for the use of individually chosen materials on the faucet. “At the end of the development, there stands a personalized product that brings inspiration,” explains Andreas Diefenbach, the main partner of the Phoenix Design studio.

With the support of material experts, the customer's own opinion and perspective are important: “A memory of a certain meeting, a mood, an experience, a place we long for, inspires us to a certain material that reminds us of that place. This is how a piece of the world materializes in the appearance of an individual faucet,” says Anke Sohn, head of the AXOR brand marketing department.

With this concept, we want to offer our customers the option for further customization in the bathroom using Czech glass in Optiwhite quality as a noble and hygienic material. At the same time, with glass surfaces, we can provide architects and designers a new platform to play with interior lighting. We approached Petra and Lars as experts in working with glass. Thanks to their realizations, they have excellent contacts with glass workshops in Northern Bohemia, where glassmaking has a tradition of several centuries.”
