Schüco invites you to a tour of the new lift-and-slide doors or window system in passive standard

From March 21 to 24, 2018, the next edition of the Nürnberg trade fair Fensterbau Frontale, focused on windows, doors, and facades, will take place. The traditional showcase of contacts, news, and inspiration will also feature Schüco Polymer Technologies KG, the plastic division of the international manufacturer of building envelope systems Schüco International KG. Interested parties can find booth number 403 in hall 7. The German manufacturer of plastic profiles has prepared products with added value for processors and distributors of window systems. The new Schüco LivIngSlide lift-and-slide door system and the Schüco LivIng Alu Inside window system will be showcased over an area of 577 m².

The new Schüco LivIngSlide lift-and-slide door system is easy to manufacture and install.

The presentation of products, services, and information at the booth covering nearly 580 m² will be divided into thematic studies grouped around a central space. Visitors can look forward to these four themes: "More design," "More comfort," "More security," and "More service."

The new Schüco LivIngSlide lift-and-slide door system will have its premiere here. The design, suitable for new constructions and renovations, is characterized by a construction depth of the wing of 82 mm and a thermal insulation value of Uf up to 1.2 W/(m²K). The sliding doors can be equipped with a wide range of decorative foils, and exclusive metallic color technology Schüco AutomotiveFinish or aluminum covering strips Schüco TopAlu are available. The added value for processors lies in the use of weldable EPDM seals, the machine processing of the wing, easy installation, glazing variability (glass thickness from 24 to 52 mm). Another advantage is that the accessories are the same as those of the Schüco LivIng window system and the option to glue the glass.

Two years ago, Schüco presented and successfully launched the window and door system Schüco LivIng at the fair in Nuremberg. It is now preparing to expand this series with a variant without steel reinforcement certified for passive houses according to Dr. Feist. Instead of steel, the manufacturer uses the already proven patented technology of aluminum reinforcement connection. The new Schüco LivIng Alu Inside window profile is 100% recyclable and has resistance to burglary in class RC2. Processors will appreciate the lighter non-steel construction, which provides benefits in storage, production, and installation, as well as the integrated EPDM seals compatible with glazing thicknesses of 24 - 52 mm, and the option to glue the glass.

The booth will also showcase new safety elements against falling out, ventilation solutions, an expanded range of fittings, a 0 mm barrier-free threshold, and new contours of the aluminum covering strips Schüco TopAlu. The portfolio is expanded with window and door systems specially developed for international markets. Another example of the company's innovative approach is the new machine for more efficient fitting installation and extensive software programs.
