Revolutionary scientific experiment of colleague Ing. Bednařík

On November 27, 2014, a “party” titled Slovácký večer took place in Brno. The event, despite being successful and seemingly enjoyed by all attendees, was merely a front for a unique and globally groundbreaking scientific experiment.

Has anyone ever wondered why tiles are manufactured in so many different formats? We have! Although our scientific team under the leadership of Ing. Bednařík is still carefully evaluating all the collected data, we can already say that the main reason tiles are produced in various formats is that each format has a different capacity of individuals that can simultaneously rest on the tile. We have both single-person tiles and so-called forty-fives – that is, tiles with a capacity of 45 SSO (simultaneously standing individuals).

As evidence of the course of the experiment, photographic documentation was created, which will become an integral part of a technical publication on this topic. For this reason, we can only allow you to glimpse a few photographs.

We will strive to have the value of SSO accepted as one of the fundamental technical properties within European DIN standards, thus becoming an integral part of the technical sheet for every manufactured ceramic tile.
