ICE CATCHER

Even during a mild winter period, we cannot avoid falling snow and ice from our roofs. This annually causes significant damage to both health and property. PREFA therefore introduces another element to enhance roof safety – the ice catcher. It is suitable in all areas where there is a risk of ice or compacted snow falling from the roof surface. Thus, it is ideal not only for mountain areas but also for urban agglomerations.

The ice catcher is specially shaped for use with the proven pole snow guard. Its ingenious shape prevents unwanted slipping off the snow guard while allowing for effective capturing of ice sliding down the roof surface. It is available in all standard colors. Installation can also be done later. Price 98 CZK including VAT per piece. More information at www.prefa.com.

NEW COLOR WITH A 40-YEAR WARRANTY

PREFA Aluminiumprodukte presents a new standard color in the shade of brick red and in finish P.10 for the year 2014. Thanks to double firing, it guarantees formability, higher resistance to UV radiation, and long-term performance against changing temperatures and weather conditions. Thus, the color retains the same shade for many years, does not crack, and does not peel. Moreover, it contains no heavy metals, and the manufacturer offers a 40-year warranty on it.

The new brick red P.10 is available in PREFA roofing systems in both small format (folded tiles, folded shingles, folded slates, FX.12 panel) and in rolled Prefalz versions with smooth or stucco structure (a relief surface resembling facade plaster).

The comprehensive PREFA system offers an ideal combination of roofs, gutters, facades, and solar technology. Despite their extreme lightness, the individual elements are unbreakable, rust-resistant, and thus ensure the longest possible lifespan. All information regarding warranties on materials and colors can be found at www.prefa.com.
