The first months of the year pose a challenge for manufacturers from various industrial sectors to present their new products at internationally significant trade fairs. In connection with floor coverings, we should mention the BAU fair in Munich or the Domotex in Hanover. At both mentioned fairs, the Swedish manufacturer of wooden multi-layer parquet, Kährs, also presented its novelties, with Kratochvíl parket profi being the exclusive importer for the Czech market - the company further distributes the coverings to its business partners and specialized stores 1 FLOOR.
A new product in Kährs' assortment, which KPP presents as the first, is called Da Capo and will delight with its rustic appearance that highlights the natural beauty of rough-hewn wood. All nine oak decors feature wood portrayed in its most natural beauty, characterized by large knots and cracks, as well as special wooden pegs incorporated into the surface structure, protected by a layer of natural oil. If you are looking for a new beautiful floor that has an ancient or even rural feel, you should definitely focus on the exclusive Kährs Da Capo collection.
New beautiful and high-quality wooden floors that look as if time has been signing them for years are a dream for many lovers of natural materials. Materials that retain and enhance their natural properties and qualities. And these very traits have been emphasized by Kährs designers in the creation of the Da Capo collection. The collection is distinguished by a natural to raw beauty of wood and underscores the warm character of this material. The stylish rustic design of the decors proves that wood is one of the few materials that can age with dignity and elegance, where aging can be a valued benefit.
In all nine 1-layer decors of the oak Da Capo collection, you will encounter an ancient appearance of the surface; large knots, prominent growth rings, joints, and cracks up to grooves are desirable features of these parquets. Oak wood, moreover, beautifully emphasizes these elements by its nature, as it is most commonly found in old wooden cottages and rural buildings. You can choose from five decors with a brushed surface, treated with special techniques to achieve unique natural shades. The other four decors differ primarily in their unusual patterns, enhanced by wooden pegs incorporated into the surface structure. The Sparuto and Patina decors are adorned with square-shaped pegs, while the Arcaico and Unico decors showcase pegs shaped like butterflies. Just like those found in the interiors of old wooden cottages.
The multi-layer structure of the planks, with dimensions 1900x190x15 mm, allows for installation in a floating manner; the covering is factory-equipped with the Woodloc® locking joint, and, of course, full surface gluing. The exceptional surface treatment of the planks in this modern collection features a top wear layer of 3.6 mm thick oak. The continually improving manufacturing technologies of Kährs allow the planks to be constructed to be stable, tight, and as resistant to damage as possible. The covering is protected by a layer of natural oil and can also be placed on underfloor heating.
Individual Kährs decors from the Da Capo collection can be obtained from KPP's business partners or in the stores of the specialized retail network 1 FLOOR. An overview of retailers, including additional information about floor coverings, can be found at www.kpp.cz and www.1floor.eu.
