Modern architecture increasingly connects the interior with the exterior through expanding glazed areas. French windows – that is, windows that extend to the floor, are very often used not only on the ground floor but also in higher floors of the house. If we choose opening variants, it is necessary to ensure reliable and safe protection against falling, but the appearance of the façade may suffer from the use of safety elements.

Exactly for these cases, the company REHAU, one of the leading premium brands for polymer solutions in the construction industry, has come up with an innovative fall protection system called SKYFORCE. It is one of the first almost invisible solutions that is also systemically refined down to the detail, allowing for easy and quick installation. Thanks to the unmatched technology of sliding clips, it can be installed directly on the window frame, in the GENEO, SYNEGO, and Brillant systems, for which it has certification.

The SKYFORCE glass railing is attached directly to plastic profiles using "invisible" screws hidden under a cover strip; moreover, the clamping profile can be pre-prepared during the manufacturing phase, simplifying and speeding up the actual assembly. SKYFORCE allows for the safe opening of French windows even on higher floors of the house, while ensuring that the overall architectural intent is not compromised and does not restrict the view or optical connection of the house with the garden.

The installation of the SKYFORCE system does not require any drilling into the façade, as the very simple assembly using drilling screws results in significant time savings during installation. SKYFORCE is available in several basic shades with the option for custom color adaptation and can be used with glazing up to 1.1 meters high and glass thicknesses of 12.76 to 21.52 millimeters.
