Exceptionally slender, exceptionally creative, exceptionally strong. This is NOMAD, a new door handle created from the combination of the original idea of world-renowned architect Eva Le Peutrec and the skilled manufacturing experience of the family-run company M&T.

Slenderness as the main goal based on the strength of the supporting materials of brass and steel. There is a new unique handle in the world that has no equal in its appearance. "The NOMAD handle is the simplest and smallest handle we have ever seen and produced,” comments Roman Ulich, the chief designer of M&T, and he is joined by Eva Le Peutrec: "In my projects, I strive to reduce and simplify, to seek the true essence. And it was precisely the reduction that was the most complicated aspect of designing the NOMAD handle. So many different designs of door hardware have already been invented that coming up with something new and minimalist was a real challenge."

For the exceptional slenderness of the handle, it was important to solve its production especially from a technological perspective. "We achieved a final slim and elegant version, where we can guarantee not only a minimalist appearance but also long-term durability and extraordinary structural strength. The handle's strength is ensured by the base material, which combines solid brass with special high-strength stainless steel," says Roman Ulich from M&T.

The visible part of the handle consists of four segments that can be color-combined to match the individuality of each interior. The individual components are available in eleven surface finishes. The options are further expanded by the NOMAD Touch variant with a finely textured surface on the handle. M&T is preparing a complete product collection named NOMAD, which will include not only door handles but also window handles and handles with locks for glass doors.
