How Wiesner-Hager sees open space offices

Pleasant environment – this is probably not what most people imagine when they hear the term open space. No, it really doesn't have to be a stressful place where "desk is next to desk."



The company Wiesner-Hager, a supplier of furniture to Impact HUB in Prague, Brno, and Ostrava, is proof of that. The main task was to equip the HUB spaces in a way that supports creativity and offers opportunities for meetings. Whether for seminars or informal meetings, the furnishings always had to meet the demanding requirements of everyday use. Most work desks are mobile, allowing them to be easily moved from place to place thanks to their wheels, or quickly adapted to changing needs of shared desks. The advantage of these desks is their folding mechanism. When folded, they take up minimal space. The most important part of the entire open space is comfortable seating. And this was no exception in Impact HUB. (It’s hard to think of comfort when considering an office chair.) That’s exactly why Wiesner-Hager develops chairs that are pleasing to the eye and your back. In the Impact HUB project, emphasis was placed not only on ergonomic chairs for 24/7 operation, but also on lounge chairs and conference seating with the possibility to connect in rows and stack. The term connecting in rows means simple linking of bases, creating an uninterrupted line of chairs.

And this is exactly how Wiesner-Hager envisions open space offices, smartly, easily, and cleanly.
