Architectural lighting Delta Light will traditionally participate in Designblok this year, the largest design exhibition in the country. During the past 8 editions, the company has showcased new products from the collection of the Belgian lighting manufacturer, and this year's edition will be no exception.
In May of this year, a new, now almost iconic lighting catalog The Lighting Bible 12 was released, full of attractive shapes and lighting technologies. Delta Light will present the best of a wide range of new products at this year's Designblok.
The main focus will be on significant circular lights Superloop in several variations. As a luminous circle shining diffusely along the entire circumference in both horizontal and vertical positions, as well as in the form of a subtle ring with reflectors "snapped" in using an innovative magnetic system. The Superloop fixtures have been a sought-after lighting object among architects since their introduction, suitable for both commercial and residential implementations. They offer a choice of four diameters of circles, from 70 to 170 cm, available in white and black finishes, and especially the option to create attractive compositions in space.
The Superloop light with Spy reflectors will create the focal point of Delta Light's exhibition, capturing the eye through the combination of modern lighting with traditional Czech crystal, proving that strictly minimalist lights can also harmonize with a very classic style.
The concept of the Delta Light booth was designed by architects Jan Fousek and Viktor Johanis from the FADW studio as a predominantly closed object, working with only a few differently sized openings that provide a glimpse into the booth and awaken curiosity in passersby. By limiting the number of openings, the architects let in very little ambient light inside the booth, allowing the lights and their effects to stand out as much as possible.
Come and see the Delta Light exhibition at Designblok from October 26 to 30. You will find it in the Superstudio, in the right wing of the Industrial Palace at the Exhibition Grounds in Prague’s Holešovice.
