Přednáška Jana Vranovského na FUA TUL

Jan Vranovský (*1986, M.Eng (arch.) představí svou práci mezi třemi obory: architekturou, grafickým designem a fotografií. Přiblíží své působení v Japonsku, studia na Tokijské univerzitě, práci v ateliéru Juna Aokiho a později ve svém vlastním: Studiu VVAA, které pokračuje ve své činnosti i po návratu do Česka. Prostor dostanou mimo jiné témata týkající se specifik práce architekta v Japonsku, praktických i teoretických až filozofických odlišností japonské architektury a měst, významu rozlišování mezi prostorem a místem či všeobjímající téma emergence.

Jan Vranovský (*1986, M.Eng (arch.) will introduce his work, which is in constant flux in between three disciplines: architecture, graphic design and photography. He will speak about his life in Japan: studies at the The University of Tokyo, work at Jun Aoki‘s architecture studio and later his own praxis: Studio VVAA, which continues staying active after Jan’s return to the Czech Republic. Space will be given to topics related to the issues of working as an architect in Japan, practical and theoretical, even philosophical specifics of Japanese architecture and cities, the importance of distinguishing between the terms “space” and “place”, or the all-encompassing theme of emergence.
