Lecture by Haiko Meijer: The social, innovative, sustainable environment in wood
Faculty of Architecture CTU, Thákurova 7, Prague 6-Dejvice, lecture hall D1122 Monday, October 25, 2010, at 6:00 PM.
The lecture is part of the lecture series Ecology vs. Architecture (organized by the Faculty of Architecture CTU) and the showcase of Dutch culture NethWorks 2010. The group ONIX, founded in the 1990s by two young Dutch architects Haiko Meijer and Alex van de Beld in Groningen, has struggled since its inception with its position in a remote province. The focus of contemporary Dutch architecture is mainly in the large cities in the northwest of the country, in the so-called Randstad.
