Markéta Richterová An eternal experimenter with materials and new technologies, she has been among the Czech jewelry elite for about four years. A graduate of the Jewelry Studio at the Prague AAAD. In her work, she draws inspiration primarily from organic and inorganic structures, which she transforms into convincing hi-tech results through material experiments. Some of her favored materials include perspex, corian, and most recently, carbon, which she has already transformed into several exceptional jewelry objects. Carbon bracelets of organic irregular shapes are a perfect complement to the human body. Their lightness and smoothness ensure that they can fit on any wrist. Despite the fact that most of her jewelry appears very futuristic and industrial, each piece is a unique original on which its author has spent a long time of precise manual work. Karel Cudlín A photographer focused on documentary photography. He has become known to the public primarily as one of Václav Havel's personal photographers. After 1989, he dealt with the issue of refugees, photographed the Valdice prison, and the withdrawal of Soviet soldiers from Czechoslovakia. In 1991, he traveled to Ukraine with photographer Vojtěch Dukát, and since 1996 he has observed everyday life against the backdrop of a long-standing political conflict in Israel. He has been awarded sixteen times in the Czech Press Photo competition. www.cudlin.com
usti-aussig.net An architect (Matěj Páral), a historian (Martin Krsek), and a photographer (Jan Vaca) are behind the internet portal Ústí///Aussig.net, which has significantly changed the perception of the North Bohemian metropolis over the past four years. Ústí nad Labem is often referred to as an unattractive city, a city without monuments. The authors of the website have found a way to reveal the strong genius loci of this industrial settlement to a wide audience. A creative database of local architecture enlivened by discussions about the current appearance of the city restores memory to a place affected by a dramatic change in population after World War II. It deepens the connection between Ústí, its residents, and outsiders. The idea has proven applicable to other cities, leading to the gradual creation of sister sites Liberec-Reichenberg.net, Teplice-Teplitz.net, and others. http://usti-aussig.net

He is currently studying at a secondary school for graphic design and is a member of the editorial team of the magazine Komfortmag. www.fpolak.eu

Jakub Špaňhel He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague in the studio of Jiří David and Milan Knížák from 1995 to 2002. He has participated in over 70 group and solo exhibitions at home and abroad (e.g. Czech Center in London (1999), Arte Gallery in Austria (2001), Gallery of the Capital City of Prague (2003), Kunstforum Ostdeutschegalerie in Germany (2004), National Gallery in Prague (2005), Saarländischen Galerie in Berlin (2006), House of Art in Brno (2007). His work is represented in the collections of many prestigious public institutions as well as private entities.
Iva Němcová A scenographer. She actively engages with space (both theatrical and public). She has created set and costume designs for numerous productions both domestically and abroad (Švandovo Theater, Pesti Színház, Studio Alt@, Theatre Na Zábradlí; Theatre Reduta). She loves design. From containers, she selects anti-design pieces that she reconstructs sensitively to highlight their often neglected aesthetic value. With a natural love for space, she has also created several interiors (café V lese, Nutprodukce studio). She founded the group "In the Background," which focuses on mapping and intervening in abandoned buildings before reconstruction or demolition. Her last strictly authorship project was the site-specific event Na Barrandov! with emotion, which took place as part of the festival 4+4 Days in Motion.
Světlana Fialová The work of SF is characterized by various approaches in formal terms: it primarily involves large-format linocuts, which she treats as originals, where the carved motifs are not subsequently printed but, on the contrary – she complements them with acrylics or sprays with an emphasis on color contrasts and clean surfaces. Her current expression is defined by a combination of various materials, resulting in collages, assemblages, and very specific spatial objects. Despite the differing formal approaches, her work emphasizes drawing, characterized by a stylized handwriting focusing on figurative scenes. On one hand, she creates very complex and hard-to-read compositions, often contrasting with works dominated by empty spaces and only one prominent drawing entry or motif. The foundation of her thematic interest lies in the stories of people she observes in her close surroundings or from inspiration drawn from popular culture, various media, and fictional tales. Katarína Kerekesová Born in Žilina. After graduating from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava (field Animated Creation), she continues to focus on animated film and illustration. Her company Fool Moon oversees her production activities. As a director and visual artist, she has realized combined films Lovers Without Clothes (1997), The Origin of the World (2002), and the puppet musical Stones (2010). Currently, she is working on an animated children's series MIMI and LÍZA. www.foolmoonfilm.com

Pavel Turek Although he obtained a doctorate in the theory of photographic and multimedia creation, above all, he is a music journalist. At one point, he was involved in the operation of the magazine Živel. He has published in Rock & Pop, Reflex, and MF DNES. He has collaborated with Radio Wave. He contributes to the release of the image magazine Komfort. From 2007 to 2009, he worked for the server Aktuálně.cz. Klára Šípková She studied jewelry at the AAAD in Prague, dedicating three semesters to industrial design and a semester of graphic design during an internship in Paris. She primarily focuses on the design and production of jewelry, but she occasionally ventures into other areas of design. (As a designer, she caught the public's attention with the metal chair Klára, which was successful at prestigious international fairs in Milan, London, and New York and was included in the collection of the Museum of Applied Arts). In designing, she enjoys working with pure forms. She focuses not only on the laws of geometry but also on harmony, movement, and the story she imparts to her jewelry. In her collections, she often plays with infinity and shape simplicity, occasionally covering it with a more romantic decor. Each object resonates with an intense search for beauty, wit, and a stylishly refined opinion. In making jewelry, she uses the latest industrial technologies but does not forget about careful manual craftsmanship. Her favorite material is primarily stainless steel. “I try to view jewelry unconventionally, I do not see it merely as decoration but as a wearable work of art that carries a certain message, opinion, and lifestyle. I like how jewelry complements the personality and taste of its owner – each person eventually adds their own story to the one behind the jewelry as I see it.” Jewelry is made in limited series, by order, or custom-made according to the customer's individual wishes. In both 2008 and 2009, she was awarded in the National Prize for Student Design. In 2009, she was nominated for the Czech Grand Design award in the Discovery of the Year category. In 2010, she won 1st place in the Jewelry of the Year competition. www.klarasipkova.cz
