The next edition of Brno's Pecha Kucha Night will be dedicated to the theme of REVISION. During the twenty-fifth edition, selected guests from ten years of Pecha Kucha Night in Brno will present in the halls of the Faculty of Architecture at VUT in Brno. A revision of their activities, the topics they have addressed (and have not addressed?) in the past. Plans and non-realizations. Reality.

20x20 will receive:

JANA KOSTELECKÁ (guest PKN Brno #1)
She organized the very first Czech Pecha Kucha Night in 2007, bringing this phenomenon to Brno's House of Art two years later. She publishes works focused on architecture and design. The first was a translation of the Polish publication D.O.M.E.K., followed by the book "What Are Architects For?" She received an honorary mention from the jury at the Architect of the Year 2019 competition.

More about the event: Pecha Kucha is a Japanese term for storytelling, but also a way of presenting interesting people, ideas, and projects. Besides the brisk presentations, each participant has a limit of 6 minutes 40 seconds, it is primarily about meetings of architects, artists, and other creatives. Since 2009, Pecha Kucha has also been in Brno, where the organizers focus the evening's dramaturgy on current cultural and social topics. This has expanded the range of presenters to include scientists, theorists, activists, social workers, and even paramedics and polar explorers.
