Minimalism, clean lines, consideration for the surrounding environment. These are the characteristic elements of the Spanish architectural studio Cadaval&Solà-Morales, who will come to Prague on Thursday, December 6th. Don't miss the last lecture from the series Other Perspectives. The Cadaval & Solà-Morales studio was founded in 2003 and currently has two main offices – in Barcelona and Mexico City. They have the most implementations in Spain and South America. They engage in both minor reconstructions and the construction of new objects as well as urban planning projects. All are united by a minimalist approach and an emphasis on context for which they are designed. "In our work, we always emphasize the environment in which we find ourselves. The harmonious relationship between the new and the existing is very important to us, as is the cultural environment. We design in Europe and America, completely different continents, which must reflect in our work,” says Clara Solà-Morales, who will personally present the studio's work in Prague.
