This year's tenth cycle on contemporary foreign architecture will focus on the region of northern Italy, South Tyrol, and the canton of Ticino. The aim of the six lectures will be to explain the continuity and interconnection between neighboring areas in northern Italy. An additional six lectures will respond to current events in the world of architecture. They will highlight upcoming openings and interesting speakers who will visit the Czech Republic in the spring. In addition, we will recall events that will take place across our borders during the semester. Lectures by Petr Šmídka will be held at the Faculty of Architecture Brno University of Technology for all those interested in contemporary architecture every Wednesday from 5:00 PM in room A118.
