Rostislav Švácha - The Work of Alena Šrámková

The work of Alena Šrámková has held a strong position in the Czech scene since the 1970s. Since then, it has been based on the search for what is universally valid in architecture and what can avoid the rapid changes of architectural trends. The architect expresses these values through the concept of "a house with windows." The lecture will trace the various manifestations of this concept in her work and will draw attention to its sources and parallels in the world architecture of the 20th century.
