Zlín - The planned multifunctional center 24-25-26 FABRIKA, which will transform the eastern part of the Baťa complex, has currently taken a significant step towards implementation. The zoning decision on the location of the building, issued by the Building Department of the statutory city of Zlín, became legally binding at the end of May this year.
The new 24-25-26 FABRIKA will offer office spaces, top-category apartments, over 3 km of modern shopping arcades featuring world brands, entertainment areas not only for families with children but also possible spaces for educational institutions and relaxation zones. The entire project of 24-25-26 FABRIKA respects Baťa's legacy and is very sensitively positioned within the Baťa complex, which many view as the new heart of the city of Zlín. The author of the new 24-25-26 FABRIKA is the renowned Prague studio CMC architects, led by architects Vítem Máslem and David Chisholm.
“By the end of 2019, we would like to reach another key milestone - the building permit, so that in 2020-21 we can already start construction,” says Martin Jarolím, and adds: “The actual construction should then last about 2 years. I believe that during the implementation and also after the opening, the 24-25-26 FABRIKA project will offer many new job opportunities and prospects for the residents of the Zlín region.”
