Vysoké Mýto - Vysoké Mýto has started to offer an additional 21 plots for the construction of family houses in the area behind the former brewery. It will spend about 27 million crowns on equipping them with engineering networks. They will be sold for a uniform fixed price of 1750 crowns per square meter, including VAT.
In the past, the town has already equipped eight plots for the construction of row houses and 12 for detached houses in the area, of which two have not yet been sold. "Interest in building plots has somewhat saturated. Given the price, we do not expect that applicants will fight for them," said Mayor František Jiraský (Independents) to reporters today.
The new plots range in size from 712 to 1052 square meters. Interested parties must pay a deposit by July 29. If several are interested in one plot, they will have to agree on whether to choose another parcel. If this does not succeed, a draw will determine the outcome.
In the future, apartment buildings could also be built behind the brewery. The town hall has already had the necessary study prepared, and it is likely that the city will announce a competition for a developer for the construction. In total, after the creation and completion of family houses in the area, about 600 residents could live there. Vysoké Mýto does not intend to expand its housing stock, as it has around 700 municipal apartments.
