Pardubice - The city of Pardubice is looking for a chief architect. The current head of the department, Zuzana Kavalírová, is leaving at her own request as of July 1. In the meantime, the city will appoint someone to lead the department, with new leadership expected by mid-September or possibly a bit earlier. This was stated by the city spokesperson Radim Jelínek. Pardubice has been preparing a zoning plan since 2010 and aims to approve it next year.

"There will definitely be a time when someone will simply be appointed to manage. Given the deadlines, we should have a new employee by the end of August or mid-September," Jelínek said.

The city requires an experienced and independent architect with the necessary expertise and management skills. Candidates should submit their resumes by July 10. The task of the candidates is to develop a conceptual proposal for the development of the city of Pardubice in the fields of urbanism and architecture.

Kavalírová is leaving at a time when the city has intensified its efforts to acquire a new zoning plan, committing to approve it next year. It has been in preparation since 2010. Since last November, the city has also had a council member specifically tasked with the procurement of the zoning plan, František Brendl (Together for Pardubice). In the previous election period, this responsibility was always held by just one politician.
