The main architect of Pardubice will be Zuzana Kavalírová

Pardubice - The main architect of the city of Pardubice will be Zuzana Kavalírová starting in August. She currently works in the department of the chief architect in Hradec Králové. This was announced today by Deputy Helena Dvořáčková (ANO) to reporters. Pavla Pannová resigned due to disagreements with the city leadership last October and is now a regular employee of the department.

"She (Kavalírová) has 15 years of experience; she is well-qualified to manage four ongoing amendments to the zoning plan and the creation of a new zoning plan," said Dvořáčková.

The acting head of the department is currently Karolína Koupalová. Architect Pannová was dismissed by the council last October. She subsequently resigned from her position at the city council, which allowed her to remain a regular employee of the department and avoid termination, Dvořáčková said. The city leadership at that time claimed that she had long-term deficiencies in fulfilling her duties.

"Over the past year, I have had to endure humiliating reprimands and denigration in front of my colleagues multiple times. I just had to deflect admonishments from the deputy. I did not feel any effort to cooperate," Pannová stated last October at the city council.
