BB Centrum, a multifunctional complex in Prague 4, transformed the existing parking lot into a square. The new public space covers an area of around 4,500 m², and the only investor in the construction exceeding 65 million CZK was the development and investment company PASSERINVEST GROUP. The new square will primarily serve for meetings, relaxation, refreshments, and for organizing cultural and sports events, thereby enriching public life in Prague. Along with the square, a pedestrian crossing over the street and a new bus bay were constructed to simplify and enhance movement throughout the entire area.
Brumlovka Square was built in three months on the site of a public parking lot that existed even before the establishment of BB Centrum. The square features seven fifteen-year-old plane trees, 73 tables, seating areas, flower pots with greenery, and other park furniture. The square is made up of a 2,700 m² mosaic of imported stone from Portugal, a water feature, a jet fountain integrated into the walking area, and it also includes a special anchoring element for the Christmas tree.
With the construction of Brumlovka Square, BB Centrum gained additional space for the public and those working in BB Centrum. It also acquired a place to go for lunch during breaks, have afternoon coffee, or enjoy an evening gathering with friends or colleagues, where seasonal and farmers' markets, musical and theatrical performances, and other supplementary cultural events will take place.
The investor of the project was PASSERINVEST GROUP, and the design of the square comes from the architectural office Aulík Fišer architekti.
