Prague - The Prague City Hall will repair the paths in the slope above the waterworks building, which is located above the Šlechtova restaurant. The work will be carried out by the company Buldix, and the city will pay approximately 13.6 million crowns for it. This is stated in a document that will be discussed by the city council on Monday. Prague is currently reconstructing the Šlechtova restaurant, and in the future, the city company Obecní dům will take care of it.

The paths on the northern slope above the Šlechtova restaurant are currently asphalted and damaged; the selected company will newly pave them. "There will be a complete replacement of asphalt surfaces with segment paving, and the existing unsuitable drainage will also be resolved," the document states. According to the contract between the city and the contractor, the work should be completed within 110 days.

Construction work on the Šlechtova restaurant is expected to be completed by the end of the year, and it should open to the public next year. The costs for its repair exceed 120 million crowns. The building was created in the 17th century as a baroque summer house. A restaurant has been located here since the 19th century, most recently managed by Antonín Šlechta, under whom it operated until World War II. It was subsequently nationalized.
