Eliška Kaplicky received the offer for the Ministry of Culture

Prague - The Minister of Culture in the cabinet being formed by Andrej Babiš could be film producer and Prague representative Eliška Kaplicky Fuchsová (both from ANO). This was reported today by the server Aktuálně.cz, according to which Kaplicky wants to decide within a few days. CTK Kaplicky said she does not want to comment on Babiš's offer in any way.

The widow of the famous architect Jan Kaplický wants, according to her own words, to decide based only on the overall political situation, although she refused to provide details. "Ask Mr. Babiš," she told CTK.

Eliška Kaplicky Fuchsová graduated from FAMU in Prague. The public recognized her as the partner of the world-renowned Czech architect Jan Kaplický, whom she met while filming the biographical film Profile. She made a documentary about Kaplický's project for the National Library titled Eye over Prague. In the municipal elections in 2014, she was elected to the Prague council as an independent candidate for the ANO movement.
