Babiš denied that he offered Eliška Kaplicky the position of Minister of Culture

Prague - The head of the ANO movement, Andrej Babiš, rejected information that he offered the position of Minister of Culture to film producer and Prague councilor for ANO, Eliška Kaplicky Fuchsová. The information was reported today by Aktuálně.cz. Kaplicky told the media that she is considering whether to accept the offer, but Babiš claims that he hasn't talked to Kaplicky in a long time and that he has no intention of offering her a position in the government.

"I have no such intentions. I haven't spoken to Eliška Kaplicky and I don't even remember meeting her. That report is completely absurd," said Babiš to Právo, who is leading negotiations to form a minority ANO government.

The server reported that Kaplicky wants to decide within a few days whether to accept Babiš's offer. She later told ČTK: "Ask Mr. Babiš.

Eliška Kaplicky Fuchsová graduated from FAMU in Prague. The public knows her as the partner of the world-renowned Czech architect Jan Kaplický. She made a documentary about Kaplický's project for the National Library titled "Eye over Prague." In the municipal elections in 2014, she was elected to the Prague council as an independent candidate for the ANO movement.
