Mladá Boleslav - Mladá Boleslav is completing the construction of a pavilion for ecological education to host educational programs and science clubs. The construction, costing more than 15 million crowns, will be finished this month with about a month's delay, said the city's spokesman Pavel Šubrt today to ČTK. Most of the costs will be covered by grants from European funds.
    The new pavilion is being completed in the premises of the House of Children and Youth on Jaselská Street. The original entrance building has been demolished, and a new pavilion stands in its place. Children will start using it from the new school year. "The appearance of the entire building is completely different. It was a dilapidated single-story building, and now it is a relatively architecturally interesting object that will also feature an interestingly designed façade and terrace. The construction will also be more massive," Šubrt told ČTK. According to him, the completion of the work has been delayed by about a month due to a dilapidated wall near the building, which had to be demolished.
    The modern complex with two new classrooms is expected to provide comfortable facilities for hosting educational programs and science clubs, and it will now be able to accommodate more children in the science clubs. It will also include a café, which was also part of the original building. The work also involves the construction of new access roads, surface stabilization, and repairs in other buildings of the complex.
