Brno - The rough construction of the AZ Tower building in Brno, which is set to become the tallest building in the Czech Republic by the end of this year, is now complete. The skyscraper currently stands at 104 meters, and will likely gain an additional seven meters in December with the installation of the final steel structure at the top of the building. Petr Teplý from Properity, one of the project's investors, said this today to ČTK.

AZ Tower has a total of 30 floors. It will open to tenants next April. "So far, we have rented more than half of the space," Teplý stated. Of the 17 residential apartments, only two remain available. The largest of them, a duplex apartment with an area of 330 square meters, has been sold for 16 million CZK excluding VAT and will be located on the 28th and 29th floors.
A commercial passage, including a restaurant, a fitness center with an area of 1350 square meters, and a car dealership with a service station, will be located on the first to third floors. The other floors will house offices. The top floor, the thirtieth, will contain technical facilities. There will be parking for 275 cars in two underground levels. The entire construction is expected to cost 800 million CZK.
The speed of construction for one floor was nine to 12 days. Construction was halted for several days this winter due to frost. However, this did not delay the construction schedule.
