Red Kostelec is looking for a city architect

The city of Červený Kostelec is announcing a two-round selection process for the position of city architect. The main duties of this role will include external consulting and advisory work in the areas of architecture and urbanism within the city for the needs of the municipal administration and the public. Among the requirements for candidates are, for example, a master’s degree in architecture and urbanism, at least three years of experience in the field, good communication skills, conceptual thinking, flexibility, and creativity in approach to public space, as well as an overview of the latest developments in the field. It is estimated that the city architect will work for the city about 40 hours per month. The selection process is being prepared in cooperation with the Czech Chamber of Architects, and its representatives will also sit on the selection committee.
