Architecture in Perspective 2018 - Invitation to the 10th Annual Conference

We are pleased to invite you for the tenth time to the international and interdisciplinary conference dedicated to architecture and urbanism.

The organizers aim to continue the discussion on the relationship between society and architecture and urbanism. Representatives from other fields besides architecture are also welcome to present contributions, thus opening the space for further questions. Articles from the fields of social sciences, economics, geography, construction, and others can be submitted.
The purpose of the conference is to seek and evaluate the current state of knowledge in architecture with the shortest history, not only from the perspective of various disciplines but also based on experiences from different countries with their distinct developments and approaches.
Contributions will be published in a printed proceedings with an ISBN, which will be submitted for evaluation to the Web of Science (issues from 2015, 2016, and 2017 have been included in WoS)

Topics of contributions may include the following areas:
1. Urbanism and public space of cities
2. Rural space and rural architecture
3. Contemporary architectural trends
4. Restoration and conversion of objects and architectural complexes
5. Ecological aspects in architecture
 
Participation fees:
Participant with a publication in the proceedings: 600 CZK + 250 CZK / standard page of text (standard page = 1800 characters + 1 image)
Participant without a publication in the proceedings: 600 CZK
Participation in the conference as a co-author: 600 CZK
Commercial presentation (15 minutes): 5000 CZK

Please send abstracts of contributions (150 - 250 words) to the address: architekturavperspektive@vsb.cz by July 31, 2018.
You will receive a notification of acceptance/rejection of your contribution by August 7, 2018. The organizers reserve the right to reject the proposed contribution.
Final texts (in Czech, Slovak, Polish, or English) + 2 reviews must be submitted no later than September 30, 2018, according to the instructions you will receive by email.

Please send abstracts of contributions (max. 300 words) to the address: architekturavperspektive@vsb.cz by September 30, 2018.
You will receive a notification of acceptance/rejection of your contribution by October 10, 2018. The organizers reserve the right to reject the proposed contribution.
Other fees:
Proceedings additionally 200,- CZK (authors automatically receive 1 copy)
Social evening 400,- CZK (can be paid on-site)

The working languages of the conference will be Czech, Slovak, Polish, and English.
