Nomadic Museum by Shigeru Ban

In ten days, a traveling museum by Japanese architect Shigeru Ban is set to be completed in Santa Monica, California. The Nomadic Museum visited Venice, Italy, and the Manhattan waterfront last year. The structure, made of 148 shipping containers, paper columns, and tarpaulins, will house an exhibition of giant (3x3m) photographs by Gregory Colbert titled Ashes and Snow.
