The world's tallest skyscraper in Dubai was illuminated with the Czech tricolor

Dubai – On the occasion of today’s 102nd anniversary of the establishment of an independent Czechoslovak state, the tallest building in the world, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, was illuminated in the colors of the Czech flag. "We lit up the Night Burj Khalifa to celebrate the national holiday of the Czech Republic, wishing for prosperity and growth," says the tweet from the skyscraper's account.

The nearly 830-meter-tall structure was previously covered, for example, by a projection of the British flag in memory of the victims of the terrorist attack in Manchester in 2017, and just two days ago, the colors of Austria, which commemorated the confirmation of its neutrality from 1955. With the words "we are with you," the tricolor of this Southern European country appeared on the Dubai landmark as a gesture of solidarity with Italy during this spring's wave of COVID-19.
