House Tower in Tokyo by the Bow-Wow studio

The studio Bow-Wow has completed a four-story family house that is 11.5 meters tall, with a footprint measuring just under 3 x 6 meters. The house is located in a very densely built residential area. However, the client wanted as much space as possible for their growing family, so the design had to go vertical. The house is called House Tower, and its reinforced concrete shell with semicircular windows evokes impenetrable medieval towers. A steel staircase suspended on steel rods divides the house into front and rear sections from the ground floor to the roof. The floors in the back part of the house are only 1.6 meters deep, which is sufficient to accommodate standard furniture. You can find dozens of photos of this house - here.
