The Second Eden Project by Nick Grimshaw

Monday's The Guardian reports on a new project by Nicholas Grimshaw in Lancashire. A former landfill site will be transformed into a tropical greenhouse with a financial injection of £150 million. Grimshaw's office has extensive experience with lightly covered large areas - here. The new project will be a quarter larger than the famous Eden Project in Cornwall. Compost in a 50-meter-high silo will generate heat to warm the air in the greenhouse (Eden Project uses solid fuels for heating in the winter months).
