Construction work on one of the tallest skyscrapers in Europe has not even started yet, and another high-rise building by the same architect is already being planned nearby. Renzo Piano has been working for six years to build a 306-meter-high glass pyramid on the south bank of the River Thames. After the aerial terrorist attack, its height was reduced by 200 feet (and the budget by half). The project still enjoys unprecedented favor from the local residents.
