Passion is an emotional degree. Just as passion affects us emotionally, so does sound. Sound waves flow through space, breaking and bending. They influence our perception and experience. The installation by the companies Aveton and Barrisol cracks and expands in space just like magma does to the Earth's surface during the movement of tectonic plates.

Two established companies present a unique project, Explosion of Silence, as part of the Superstudio Designblok Gabriel Loci from October 7, 2020.
The objects that combine tensioned foil and acoustically absorbing glass were created by architect and designer Marek Deyl. His Explosion of Silence showcases the possibilities of modern materials in sound absorption within spaces. It is not just an exhibition project, but the objects of Explosion of Silence are designed as modular elements for offices, public space lobbies, as well as hotels.
This is a technologically advanced solution for acoustics, suitable where exceptional design plays an important role. Companies Aveton and Barrisol, in collaboration with architect Marek Deyl, come up with a solution that elevates the classic "silent rooms" or acoustic booths to a completely different dimension. In terms of material, color, and expression.
The solution is suitable for spaces where silence is meant to literally "explode". Where there is a need for peace for focused work, personal meetings, or phone calls: in all those places, elements and modules made from acoustic Barrisol and acoustic glass will find their use.
“It is architecture that spatially surrounds us just like sound in the immediate environment. Its heart is a unique object - a design whose parts have different acoustic properties,” describes architect Marek Deyl.
The individual elements present the visitor with different approaches to the solution of spatial acoustics. They offer a better understanding of our environment and demonstrate how sound, as well as how music, affects our body and psyche. Even a moment's pause here leads us to a deeper reflection on the properties of our constructed living environment.
