In the fourth block of the exhibition cycle Zoom In, we present an exhibition dedicated to the Czech pavilions at EXPO 2015 and 2025. In 2015, the Czech pavilion at the EXPO in Milan, Italy, was realized by the studio CHYBIK + KRISTOF, who designed it in collaboration with the construction supplier, the Vizovice company KOMA. The modular construction of the pavilion allowed it to be dismantled after the end of the EXPO and reassembled in another location. Since 2018, it has been located in Vizovice, where it serves as the Center for Modular Architecture. We are still awaiting the EXPO 2025, but the competition for the design of the Czech pavilion has already taken place. The expert jury evaluated 38 competition projects, and as part of the exhibition, we present three awarded projects. The winning design, shaped like a glass spiral, was created by the studio Apropos Architects.
