Ideas for Kolín - Announcement of a Student Architectural Competition

The city of Kolín is announcing an architectural student competition titled "Ideas for Kolín." The subject of the competition is to develop an architectural design for selected locations, public spaces including architectural solutions for buildings in the given area, adding furniture, etc. Participants in the competition may choose one or more locations from five (No. 1, 2, 5, 7, 8) competition materials.

Purpose of the competition:
The purpose is to find and reward the most suitable solution to the competition's subject that meets the requirements of the organizer.

Participants in the competition:
The student architectural competition is anonymous and is intended for regular students of all years of bachelor's and master's studies in architectural fields for the academic year 2013/2014.

Competition conditions and materials:
A list of provided materials - a brochure with a list of locations and the assignment, orthophotos, extracts from the cadastral map, extracts from the zoning plan, photographs of the locations, etc., and the competition conditions can be found in the attachment.

Questions and answers will be published on July 28, 2014.

City tour is on Friday, July 11, 2014, at 09:00 hours.

The competition ends on August 29, 2014.

Prizes:
1st prize is set at 15,000 CZK.
2nd prize is set at 10,000 CZK.
3rd prize is set at 5,000 CZK.
