Proposal annotation: The proposal focuses on integrating both banks of the river into the settlement's organism at the interface between the historical core of the settlement and a younger residential area with several schools. The right bank is designed for recreational use, while the left bank is made accessible and integrated into a park. The proposal respects the natural character of the area through its use, operation, and materials, considering the routing of the biocorridor along the river and the position of the biocenter in the park, as well as the flood zone. The park near Smetanův dům is proposed to be connected by a new route and a pedestrian footbridge to both banks of the river. Optical and functional connections between the street and riverside spaces are supported.

Jury evaluation: The proposal respects the historical footprint of the site and seeks to bring the river closer to the public. The presentation of the proposal was convincing and significantly expanded the overly brief and insufficient expression on the submitted panels. The solution of the gravel bench is beneficial even from a potamological perspective; however, in the given spatial context and in terms of material solution (locally inappropriate stone), it is not the most suitable, just as extensive interventions in the existing greenery are. There is an exemplary professional approach and collaboration with related professions.
