The architectural and design office HELIKA a.s. has announced the 5th year of the competition for university students of architecture and related fields. This year, students are tasked with processing another interesting topic the extension of an elementary school located in Roztoky near Prague. This year's jury will include Ing. arch. “The topic of the extension of the elementary school does not only mean processing an architectural design that will respect the existing school building from 1932, but primarily emphasizes functionality, which is extremely important for educational institutions of this type. Other aspects of the design that students must consider include creating conditions for further education, communication between people, and developing the personality of each student, leading to their meaningful application in life,” says Acad. arch. Vladimír Kružík from HELIKA a.s.
