The Zlín studio ellement architects was founded in 2002 by architects Jitka Ressová, Hana Maršíková, and Helena Víšková along with designer Jan Pavézka. Their realizations range from urban studies to public spaces, commercial buildings, family home designs, smaller and larger renovations, commercial and private interiors, and product design. The studio also engages in the creation of installations and exhibition architecture. As an office operating in Zlín, it focuses long-term on renovations and extensions of Baťa houses; it also contributes to the popularization of local architecture and its heritage. One of the outputs of this effort was the exhibition "My Baťa House," curated by Jitka Ressová. She also previously led the design department at the Zlín branch of UMPRUM. Members of the office are also involved in the Zlín association aArchitektura, which, in addition to organizing lectures and guided tours, is behind the project Zlín Architectural Manual (ZAM).
The founding of the studio Projektor dates back to 2016. Although its founders Václav Matějka and Eva Šarochová operated it in Prague until recently, both now primarily work in their native Klatovy. A significant part of their projects is also aimed at Klatovy and the surrounding region. In their work, Eva and Václav deal with designs of various scales and typologies, and they regularly participate in competitions – they have won, for example, in international competitions for a new school in Dolní Měcholupech or the reconstruction of a brewery in Domažlice. Their urban study Botič won the Urban Project of the Year award in the Building of the Year 2019 competition thanks to public voting.
