In a new building on the busy Brno street Vídeňská, a venue has emerged where a passionate date between good wine and rock music takes place. The historical soul of the place is literally in its foundations: the story of the wine bar Rockwine began when builders discovered remnants of an early medieval settlement along with the foundations of a rare rotunda during the implementation of a development project.

The impulse of the place had an impact, allowing the investor's enthusiasm and the architects' idea to enable visitors to the wine bar to admire fragments of its walls through glass sections of the floor. And it’s not just an interesting archaeological gem. The circular layout of the sacred building has, thanks to its parallel with wine culture, imbued the entire interior with character and has become its primary inspiration. The circular space of the rotunda has come to life again - resonating in the shape of glass floor showcases, shelves, and the elegant levitating ceiling.

The mood of the interior arises from the harmony of the natural brushed oak of the floor and furniture set in the wine-red environment of the walls and marmoleum. The white acoustic ceiling and the light prism of the bar harmoniously lighten the entire space. The walls of the restroom are adorned with spicy ceramic mosaics by Ivetta Fendrichová.
