The investor's intention was a complete reconstruction of the original apartment with a layout of 5+1 to a new above-standard layout of 3+kk. The original layout was inadequate due to the size of the rooms, particularly the hallway, kitchen, and living room. With the layout adjustments, the standard of the apartment was also increased by adding another bathroom and a utility room. A new separate dressing room for the bedroom was also created, as well as a study in the slanted part of the living room. A children's room was created in one of the rooms. The overall entry to the apartment is significantly more generous, which now directly connects to the living room through sliding doors. The interior design is tuned to shades of oak complemented by a subtle tone of the paintwork. The character of the individual rooms is enhanced by luxurious wallpapers and various types of lighting.
The architect designed the entire interior to maximize the use of space and create an elegant, timeless home for a family of four. Most of the furniture is built-in, allowing for easy maintenance of the apartment. During the reconstruction of the apartment, smart home control was installed, which manages lighting, heating, cooling, blinds, audio, and alarm systems.
The apartment renovation was submitted to the Interior of the Year 2021 competition.
