The church designed by architect Lamla from 1938 was realized without a tower. The theme of completing the tower was revived in the 1990s at the urging of the new parish administrator.
It is designed as an archetypal campanile standing freely beside the church, yet creating a harmonious resonance with it. Since its location was determined by already built foundations, mainly its height and silhouette from distant views in the slightly undulating landscape were examined. Several heights and options for finishing the tower were explored in studies. The tower ultimately settled at a height of 42 m with a four-meter statue of an angel at the top. The angel was later replaced by a cross at the request of the investor in subsequent phases of the project. The lantern of the tower has the inscription PRAISE THE LORD ALL YOU NATIONS pressed into its top ring. The starting point for the compositional principles of the tower was a geometric canon.

The tower is founded on the original concrete slab, and the basement and ground floor walls are also original made from solid bricks. The new walls of the tower prism are made of ceramic brick blocks, and the thickness of the walls decreases as the height of the tower increases; the ceilings are concrete, and the lantern is made of glass-cement suspended on a galvanized steel structure. The stairs in the lower part are cast reinforced concrete, while the upper part is made of galvanized grating. The windows are atypical iron, the interior doors are sliding wooden, and the blinds in the lantern are made from galvanized bent mesh, with walkable surfaces made of concrete screeds. Inside the lantern, there is a metal bell frame with three bells arranged in an accord above each other (weighing 970kg, 580kg, and 300kg), driven by a pulse motor. At the top of the lantern is a stainless steel cross that is 3.5 m tall.
