The children's world is situated in the cleft of two park paths between the trees. The paths determine two directions of orientation for the objects. The play devices are not as rich in color and shape as those found in common playgrounds. Two questions (two starting points) are considered: 1/ Must things for children be pastel-colored? 2/ A 19th-century spa park is a phenomenon. Is it possible to insert such pronounced and typologically non-original devices into it?
The play devices primarily consist of simple objects made of oak wood. The objects are composed of oak beams that are threaded onto vertical steel profiles. Each object is equipped with grips for climbing or openings for crawling through. In addition to this small labyrinth, the complex also includes a hanging swing, two sandboxes, a slide, and various balance beams. The surface of all wooden objects is treated with hot paraffin.
